Did you know that some believe that Shakespeare didn’t write his plays, Christopher Marlowe did?
    This is because…
William Shakespeare’s father couldn’t read or write, neither could his kids.
The few of Shakespeare’s signatures that remain show very poor writing.
William Shakespeare was known in Stratford as a businessman, not a writer.
If you look at the way a writer uses words of a certain number of letters, you can find their writing fingerprint. Shakespeare’s is identical to Christopher Marlowe.
There are many more reasons and if you want to find out more, read Terrible Tudors by Terry Deary.
So did Marlowe sign some of his plays as William Shakespeare? People have theories that Marlowe wasn’t murdered.
I don’t believe this by the way.
You have found out some cool information but remember to reference it.
    😉

I didn’t realise I had this amazing expertise in Drew class. Well done Grace for the research and I would agree with Jessica about referencing. Wow Jessica, that is impressive knowledge about Marlowe. Why don’t you believe that he was not murdered?
