Oh goodness Alex, what a surprising thing to wake up to! I’m glad that you were able to stick around for a few days to feed the animals but I really hope that the Zoo Keeper comes back soon so that there is enough food for the animals.
This was an interesting way to respond to the 100 word challenge prompt. Most people had written a description of a specific animal as opposed to placing themselves in the role of the Night Zoo Keeper. Your opening sentence really grabs the reader and makes them want to read on – the sign of a good piece of writing 🙂 It’s also super that you end on a cliffhanger – are you planning to write a follow up to tell us whether they do or not?
