What a surprise present! A snake might be a great present for someone in a zoo or keep on reptiles but I think most of us would take fright if we weren’t prepared. I wonder, what type of snake was it? I know down here in Australia I wouldn’t be worried if it were a black-headed python but black or brown snake wouldn’t be popular because they are poisonous.
If I might make a suggestion, it looks as though you might have been pressing the RETURN key a number of times. The big space between the end of your entry and the comments usually means there are many blank lines at the end of your story. Try going to the end and deleting the blank lines.
Have you taken the opportunity to visit the entries of students from other schools? It is interesting to see how others have approached the prompt. Don’t forget to leave them a comment if you do visit. 🙂
