It is really interesting to read your story. I liked the part that says “I heard a satisfying scream…” You captured a wonderful continuation to the story and a happy ending too. Great use of punctuation. Keep up the good work.

Great structure to your entry and I love the metaphor that really sets the scene “terror gripping my heart like an icy hand”. The pace never lets up from there on and your punctuation and continued imagery is fantastic.
