I do love how you asked me lots of questions to begin with. It really made me think about what I would do, befor actually finding out what Sam did. I like your sentences – vibrating with every groan and had an aura of power. Wonderfully descriptive.
Remember if you us an if sentence then you have to use a comma in it.
If you were in a house on your own, what would you do?
If you were in a house on your own, in a secret room with a moaning noise, what would you do?
If you were Sam, you would try and find the source of the noise.
