I have learnt what a tanka is and was interested that an acrostic isn’t always alphabetical.
I enjoyed the variety of water based subjects. I thought the puddle poem was very descriptive and thought how true the the river one is.
The phrases “a bad annoying mess” and “waste of precious stuff” could be improved.
Which aspect of water appeals to you most?
This makes me see how difficult it is write a tanka poem (especially on the computer)!
