This is a good little story with an interesting twist at the end. Be careful with your spelling, and use capital I instead of i. You have a great imagination!
Beatrix this is a nice story. I like that you ran out straight away to get your mom a gift when you realized it was her birthday and you had forgotten. And not just any gift but her favorite flowers. Well done!
I always wondered how it would feel to be born on February 29. For most of us, we celebrate our birthday on the same date every year but for those born on February 29, they can only celebrate on their real birthday every fourth year. The three years in between, they have to celebrate on February 28 or March 1. Of course it would be handy if you only aged one year for every four when you were older. 🙂
I see your mum has already suggested taking care with spelling and using “I” instead of “i”. When I write, I always reread my writing before posting it. This can help us find mistakes. The other suggestion is, the prompt is not normally to be used as a title but should be in the story itself. It’s quite alright to use it as a title if it is also within the story.
I found your story quite interesting. It would be hard to remember to make a real birthday extra special for someone when February 29 comes around every fourth year. 🙂
